Your challenge

  • As a Financial Crime Compliance Specialist FIU (Financial Intelligence Unit), you will act as an expert in a group-wide FIU with a general understanding of financial crime issues/risks in the financial sector.
  • You are familiar with the key regulatory requirements applicable to internationally active private banks - as well as the regular scenarios in the fight against and prevention of financial crime. 
  • They support the ongoing development of internal concepts, processes and framework conditions (client risk classification, directives, etc.) in order to identify potential financial crime risks as early as possible and take appropriate precautions.
  • As part of their role, they support local compliance officers and work with various business units across disciplines and countries to resolve complex issues and set Group-wide standards.
  • They coordinate investigations in connection with potential money laundering cases and actively support the various stakeholders in the measures to be taken. 
  • They keep the Group's management informed about risks arising from external or internal processes related to financial crime issues that are relevant to LGT as a group with a global reach.
  • You create reports and perform independent controls to ensure that new issues can be responded to in a timely manner.
  • You enjoy sharing your knowledge to further strengthen the bank's risk culture

Your profile

  • Completed university studies 
  • Several years of work experience in the area of compliance, preferably in connection with money laundering scenarios and the management of corresponding cases
  • Good conceptual and analytical skills 
  • Good coordination and communication skills
  • Reliable, solution-oriented way of working and quick comprehension skills
  • Assertive team player
  • Business fluent in German and English
