Advisory Solutions - Investment Counselor Singapore (SG)

Description of role:

• This is a client-facing role within Investments team.
• Active Advisor partners with Relationship Managers to service clients, who require frequent interaction with a seasoned LGT investment specialist.
• Active Advisor is expected to provide timely and unbiased investment advice on single stocks, bonds, structured products, FX, derivatives, mutual funds and private market investments in a scalable manner.
• Active Advisor is expected to regularly monitor client portfolios for performance, risk and opportunities
• A team player in executing the Active Advisory team vision.
• As part of the role, Active Advisor is expected to actively contribute investment ideas to the team as part of “ideas sharing”.
• Proactive and self-starter in taking initiative to build and manage own portfolio of tagged accounts
• Occasional travel to meet clients may be required.

Requirements:

Extensive experience

• A seasoned professional with more than 15 years of experience in the dynamic financial industry, primarily honed within international private banks.

Investment expertise

• Proven track record in multi-asset investment counselling, leveraging robust analytical skills, deep security, derivative, and structured product, fund and private market product knowledge to deliver sound and insightful advice.
• Extensive experience in advising clients on navigating the complexities of global capital market securities

Quantitative finance skills

• Mathematically trained with sound experience in applying quantitative skills to systematically evaluate portfolio risk and to identify optimal product solutions for client-centric recommendations.

Communication and language skills

• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English (both written and spoken), enabling seamless communication with diverse clientele and colleagues.

Personal qualities

• Energetic, hard-working, and self-motivated individual with a collaborative spirit and a dedication to teamwork.
• Growth mind-set

Qualifications:

• University degree, coupled with CFA charter designation
• Proficient in industry-standard tools, including Microsoft Office and Bloomberg.
