As a Platform Engineer Integration - Kafka, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You contribute significantly to the strategic development of our central integration platform Kafka
• Participate in the strategic development of the platform into a modern cloud architecture
• You optimize self-services and automate workflows to continuously improve the developer experience
• Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure efficient implementation of new requirements
• Review central platform guidelines and governance

Your profile:

• Completed apprenticeship or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, containers and the Apache Kafka ecosystem (ZooKeeper, Broker, Connect, Streams)
• Good written and spoken English, knowledge of German is an advantage
• Strong analytical thinking skills, quick comprehension and a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Team-oriented with clear and friendly communication
