Your challenge

  • Assist in the planning, execution and documentation of internal reviews and audits to identify risks and vulnerabilities in internal operations and processes.
  • Assist in analyzing business events and transactions to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Assist in the preparation of audit reports and recommendations to improve business processes
  • Collaborate with various departments to resolve audit issues and develop solutions
  • Assist in updating internal audit policies and procedures
  • Researching regulatory updates
  • Prepare presentations and reports for various stakeholders
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal control systems

Your profile

  • Ongoing or completed studies in economics, law, finance or a comparable course of study, ideally completed bachelor's degree
  • Interest in banking and financial markets
  • Initial experience in the financial sector or in auditing/corporate consulting an advantage
  • Accurate working style and high level of self-motivation
  • Analytical thinking skills and the ability to understand complex issues
  • Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and high reliability
  • You have excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken

The remuneration is based on the collective agreement for banks and bankers, so that a collective agreement minimum salary starting at € 34.504,82 p.a. can be assumed.

The desired internship duration is 6 months (ideally from September/October onwards).
