Your challenge

To support the Group Financial Crime Prevention - Sensitive Clients, ABC and PEP team in Bendern, you will take on the following tasks in the role of Compliance Officer:

  • Elaboration of risk analyses on various topics in the area of financial crime prevention.
  • Drafting internal guidelines for the management, control and monitoring of risks with regard to the prevention of bribery/corruption, politically exposed persons and clients with increased risks.
  • Contact person for advice on internal guidelines and independent case processing in the areas of prevention of bribery/corruption, politically exposed persons and clients with increased risks.
  • You are familiar with the challenges and solutions in the fight against financial crime and can explain relevant regulatory laws and industry standards in the financial sector and implement them in practice.
  • You will be responsible for the preparation of reports, the Group-wide corporate risk assessment and the implementation of independent controls.
  • Your enjoyment of knowledge sharing will be reflected in the sharing of your expertise and will help to further strengthen the bank's risk culture.
     

Your profile

  • University degree in law, economics or finance
  • First experience with activities in the compliance environment as well as with regulatory requirements of a bank, preferably acquired at internationally active banks
  • Sound knowledge and experience of specific regional emerging markets such as China, Africa or the Middle East is an advantage
  • Comprehensive technical skills in Microsoft Office in the creation of reports
  • Good conceptual and analytical skills
  • Reliable, solution-orientated way of working and quick comprehension skills
  • Business fluent in German and English
