In the context of Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2) LGT Bank Österreich refers to the framework of Berlin-Group and provides the following service:
Currently, our implementation supports the Berlin Group Standard.

The Bank may deny an account information service provider access to a payment account for objectively justified and duly evidenced reasons relating to unauthorised or fraudulent access to the payment account by that account information service provider. In such cases, the bank client will be informed, in a suitable manner (in writing, verbally or using electronic communication channels), that access to the payment account is denied and will be provided with information on the reasons behind this decision. That information will, where possible, be given to the bank client before access is denied and at the latest immediately thereafter, unless providing such information would compromise objectively justified security reasons or is prohibited by other relevant law.
Please note that LGT only accepts certificates issued by a certification authority approved in the EU or the EEA. The certificates themselves must meet the following criteria:

In case of a technical unavailability of the interfaces, as an immediate available alternative option LGT can provide, the accounts can be accessed via https://smartbanking.lgt.com/PR01-login/login.
However, in case of general problems, e.g. external network problems, LGT cannot guarantee the screen-scraping access via this alternative interface. If the login credentials are correct, a PhotoTan is displayed and needs to be forwarded by the payment service provider to the client so that the client can confirm the login according to the strong customer authentication obligations.
Please note that a payment service provider is required to inform LGT by e-mail if an access took place via screen scraping.
