Your challenge

Business Unit:

  • The Data Management team are responsible for processing client on-boarding and data update functions in accordance with the due diligence review, firm data requirements, fees management and those for products and pricing.
  • The team are also responsible for providing support in delivering on the firm's data strategy by establishing and maintaining processes, controls, procedures and methodologies in line with agreed firm wide governance policies and standards.

Brief Role Objective:

  • This role involves maintaining and distributing accurate data across LGT Wealth Management
  • The role will be focused on Client data and sits within the Client Services department. This includes static data entry, data amendments, monitoring data quality, managing and maintaining data vendor relationships, and responsible for new data requirements ensuring appropriate governance and standards are applied from the outset. The long-term aim of the role will be to develop and apply a broad range of skills within the Data Management team.
  • The successful candidate must be a self-starter with a passion for data who takes pride in working to a high standard, and thrives within a dynamic environment, showing initiative and drive. They will proactively contribute on continuous improvement of data quality, integrity and consistency along the data supply chain

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day data support for the Firm and our clients
  • Input and maintain reference data in LGT WM’s trade and settlement system, Figaro and our CRM system – Salesforce
  • Implement and perform data quality check processes to mitigate risk
  • Investigate data discrepancies within the firm’s trading Figaro
  • Where necessary liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure high level of data accuracy
  • Act as a point of contact and subject matter expert on data issues
  • Assist the project/IT teams with testing data regarding Figaro releases and upgrades
  • Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures
  • Build strong working relationships with the Front Office, Data team and other teams within both the Client and Custody Services departments

Your profile

Key Skills and Technical Requirements:

  • Competent in all MS Office products - specifically excel
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect organise and analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information accurately
  • Knowledge of FNZ’s Figaro system is desirable
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM system is desirable
  • Data warehousing is desirable

  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills/ability to build relationships
  • Strong focus on consistency, accuracy and quality
  • Industry knowledge – experience of data management desirable, but not essential
  • Pro-active, willing to question existing processes and procedures
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Capable of organising own workload
