Trainee Dealing Analyst London (GB)

Business Unit:

The Dealing Team are responsible for the execution of all trades for the Firm. Therefore, the team are involved in a broad range of asset classes including: UK equities, international equities, fixed income, derivatives, structured products, exchange traded funds, unit trusts, hedge funds and foreign exchange.

Brief Role Objective:

This role will assist the team with dealing off-exchange orders and rebalancing models via several platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Editing models and rebalancing for Model Portfolio Service
• Cash Funds aggregation, execution and pricing
• Monitor Figaro Front Office trade blotters for EAM trades
• Trade execution on SmartBanking Pro for LGT EAM orders
• Create required trades within internal portfolio management system.
• Maintain core investment models based on instructions from LGT investment teams.
• Carry out checks and controls to ensure accuracy of trading and model management.
• EAM platform trading, incepting deals on various EAM provider platforms
• Non-LGT EAM pricing on Figaro, contacting EAM providers for confirmations and valuations
• Book FX trades to relevant RISK books and maintain orderflow spreadsheets
• Produce and review Daily Crest checking report
• Check and log execution-only contract notes
• Contracting and trade amendments in Figaro Back Office
• Cover for model management and central dealing functions
• General administrative tasks for the Dealing Team

Key Skills, Technical Requirements and Other Attributes:
