The 2025 PWM Wealth Tech Awards were presented yesterday in London by Professional Wealth Management (PWM), a Financial Times publication. Each year, PWM honours financial institutions for excellence in the use of innovative technologies and digital communications. At the 2025 awards, LGT – participating for the first time – was recognised as Best Private Bank for ESG Technology.

In its submission, LGT focused on the development and implementation of its ESG Navigator, an innovative digital tool that provides relationship and portfolio managers with enhanced transparency and access to comprehensive sustainability ratings and ESG data. "The ESG Navigator plays a key role in helping us more effectively advise and support our clients in decarbonising their investments", says Tobias Hurst, Product Owner of the application. PWM Editor-in-Chief Yuri Bender, says: "In particular, the judges praised the clear methodology behind LGT’s sustainability rating – an element that is often lacking among other wealth managers. They were also impressed by how LGT integrates this data into innovative technological solutions to support relationship managers in their work."

Using innovation to enhance efficiency

In addition, LGT received a Highly Commended rating in the category Best Private Bank in Europe for Big Data Analytics and AI. Simon Gomez, Head of Data & Innovation, says: "Empowering our employees through access to generative artificial intelligence is a top priority for us. By providing our relationship managers with the latest tools – and the training to use these effectively and securely – we are enhancing both their efficiency and the overall client experience."

Olivier de Perregaux, CEO LGT Private Banking, says: "The awards reflect our commitment to delivering value for our clients through cutting-edge technology. We are proud to be at the forefront of these developments and to be continuously enhancing our services."
