Contributing to the further development of a healthy society is very important to us. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility, we get involved as a company, we promote a strong corporate culture, we are committed to the further development of our workforce and we enable our employees to volunteer.
Many of our more than 4500 employees are committed to a good cause. These initiatives, often organized locally, benefit less privileged people and the environment. We enable our employees to get involved and provide financial support to aid organizations.
In the long term, a company will only be successful if its employees are motivated and satisfied. Promoting an attractive and inclusive working environment is therefore a top priority for us. We foster a corporate culture in which everyone feels respected and motivated and has the opportunity to develop. We support talent with, vocational apprenticeships internships and, trainee programs train and develop employees, for example at the, Liechtenstein Academy and are committed to diversity and equal opportunities and aim to increase the proportion of women in senior management to 30 percent by 2030. It's worth it: for 94 percent of our employees, LGT is a "Great Place to Work".
Today, our employees expect more than a decent salary. The corporate culture is important to them; they want to identify with LGT's goals.
For more than a decade, social commitment and philanthropy has also been an important topic for LGT as a company. We owe this initiative to the long-standing and successful philanthropic commitment of our owner family. The Princely Family firmly believes that wealth goes hand in hand with social responsibility. That is why the Princely House has been charitable and philanthropic for centuries. In order to professionalize its commitment and institutionalize it within LGT, the Princely Family established the LGT Venture Philanthropy Foundation in 2007. LGT VP's goal is to improve the quality of life of disadvantaged people in sub-Saharan Africa and India.
Slavery is prohibited worldwide. Nevertheless, an estimated 40 million people live in modern slavery; human trafficking is a billion-dollar business. Banks and financial institutions may be directly or indirectly involved in such schemes. Finance Against Slavery and Trafficking (FAST) aims to raise awareness of these sensitive issues in the financial sector and combat slavery and human trafficking. As a socially responsible private bank, we provide financial and non-material support for this initiative.
