As the Head of Data & Analytics at LGT, you will be instrumental in our strategic corporate evolution and Data Management & AI initiative. This role suits a seasoned professional eager to develop people, enhance data management capabilities, and cultivate AI solutions for LGT's digital transformation.

Your key responsibility will be to ensure data, information, and insights are accessible, secure, and sustainable for all within LGT. You will guide the global strategic direction for data, business intelligence, and AI across the organization. Leading your team, you will develop and maintain data-driven solutions, providing valuable insights to our clients by using data and innovative technologies.

In collaboration with internal and external partners, you will build out a robust data infrastructure and knowledgebase to support intelligent data management, advanced analytics, reporting services, and AI solutions. Your contributions will shape the future of our organization.

In this position, you will take on the following tasks:

• Strategic Leadership: Guide the strategic direction for data, information, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence across the organisation.
• Team Management: Lead a highly motivated team to design, develop, and maintain data-driven solutions. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment and support the professional development of team members.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with high-level stakeholders, including C-suite executives and business leaders, translating technical concepts into business value and strategic implications.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster cross-functional collaboration, working closely with other teams and managers to drive initiatives forward, align strategies, and ensure shared understanding and commitment to achieving business goals.
• Data Analytics and AI Expertise: Leverage your extensive expertise in data analytics, business intelligence, and AI technologies and methodologies to provide valuable insights to our internal and external clients.
• Data Management: Demonstrate a strong understanding of data architecture, data modelling, and database design. Oversee the development and management of both relational and non-relational database systems.
• Agile Leadership: Take ownership of topics and support completion, demonstrating a high level of accountability. Apply excellent leadership skills to provide the conditions for your teams to excel in creating value for internal and external clients. Use your experience in agile leadership and program management to lead initiatives to successful completion.
• Communication: Use excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise information flow.
• Infrastructure Development: Collaborate with internal and external partners to build a robust data infrastructure and knowledge base that supports intelligent data and information management, reporting services, and AI solutions for LGT.
• Innovation: Actively contribute to shaping the emerging landscape of data and AI in the organization, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

• Advanced degree in computer science, data science, software engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing others and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Proven ability to effectively manage and communicate with high-level stakeholders, including C-suite executives and business leaders.
• Demonstrated experience in fostering cross-functional collaboration.
• Extensive expertise in data analytics, business intelligence, and AI technologies and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data modelling, and database design.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and drive them to completion, demonstrating a high level of accountability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with an analytical mindset capable of applying critical judgment, sound analysis, and effective troubleshooting.
• Experience in in program/project management, preferably with agile methodologies.
