In this role, you will be the first point of contact for Relationship Managers for all types of due diligence and AML related Client File Review issues. As the first line of defence, you will be responsible for identifying money laundering, reputational and other business risks and actively proposing controls and measures to mitigate them. You will prepare client risk assessment reports for account openings and conduct reviews of existing clients. You enable and facilitate clear and constructive communication between Relationship Managers and Compliance.

Identify money laundering, sanctions, reputational and other business risks
Defining controls and measures to mitigate risks
Preparing risk assessment reports and conducting reviews of existing clients
Experience of at least 3-5 years as a business risk manager (first line of defense) or compliance officer in the international business area in a Swiss private bank
Higher education such as a Master's degree in law or economics, due diligence (compliance) certification or similar education
Substantial understanding of the regulatory environment and experience with KYC reviews of business relationships with increased risks. In-depth market knowledge of the Middle East Africa (MEA) and Latin America (LATAM) regions is an advantage.
Reliable, responsible and risk-aware, analytical mindset, good communication skills and a conscientious working style
Team-oriented, flexible and able to work under pressure.
Very good knowledge of English and good knowledge of German or French. Russian or Arabic language skills are an advantage
