Position Overview: We are seeking a (Junior) Business Risk Manager with a hands-on attitude and a passion for operational risk management. As a key member of our Trading Business Process Management team, you will analyze processes, address regulatory topics, and handle ad hoc queries. You will collaborate closely with Trading, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and other departments within LGT globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive trading process analysis with a focus on operational, regulatory, and compliance risks.
Develop and propose solutions for identified control gaps.
Initiate and support process and IT adjustments with relevant stakeholders.
Maintain and enhance the trading compliance framework.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders in trading, legal, compliance, and other internal and external parties.
Ensure clearly defined competencies and responsibilities in Trading & Treasury by maintaining trading-related directives.
Perform ad hoc assessments of trading-related risk and compliance issues.
Participate in project work to drive improvements.
Strong knowledge of financial markets and financial products.
Experience as a trader or in a trading middle-/back-office role at a bank is a plus.
Good understanding of the regulatory landscape for banks, with a focus on trading, private banking, and/or asset management.
Proactive, "get stuff done" attitude.
Interest and knowledge in IT.
Strong analytical skills.
Fluent in German and English.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex matters for any audience.
