LGT is the largest Private Banking and Asset Management group in the world to be owned by an entrepreneurial family. As the family office of the Princely House of Liechtenstein, we have years of experience in the management of sizeable sums of assets.
We are looking for a trustworthy individual for our branch in Germany, based in Munich, who will make an important contribution to the holistic and sustainable risk management of the bank in this role. The following activities are part of your responsibilities:
• Supporting our employees with plausibility and control tasks in the context of account openings and questions regarding due diligence
• Assessing structures in the onboarding of new customers
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, especially in due diligence and tax issues
• Ensuring all internal processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations and laws
• Independently identifying necessary actions and initiating appropriate measures
• Participating in projects on regulatory issues as well as in training sessions
• Contributing to the implementation of new regulations and the further development of internal guidelines and processes
• Participating in the ongoing monitoring of transactions
For this responsible position, we are looking for a dedicated and trustworthy individual with the following profile:
Completed studies in law or business administration, or banking or business administration training with relevant professional experience in the areas of Legal and Compliance in the banking and/or financial services sector
Very good knowledge of regulatory requirements and due diligence, especially GWG, knowledge of FATCA and AIA desirable
Quick comprehension as well as an independent, careful, and solution-oriented working style
Professional and confident appearance
Very good language skills in German and English
