Main Task
Data from assets (master data, prices, company data, event data, etc.) are becoming increasingly important and are being used more and more widely; this should be used and managed efficiently, cost-effectively, with high quality and under the current licensing situation in LGT.
Tasks
Support for major projects of the LGT Group (examples: regulatory projects (MiFID II), connection of new data feeds (RIMES, Clearstream, CONNEXOR) etc.)
Receive new requirements from specialist departments across the LGT Group, analyze them and develop proposed solutions
Planning, coordination and support of the system maintenance windows together with the IT and specialist departments
Analysis of changes in the market data world and system suppliers (data quality, licenses and costs)
Monitoring the external data quality of the market data feeds and creating incidents with suppliers
Monitoring internal data quality and creating suggestions for improvement to improve it
Continuous expansion and automation of testing so that the existing quality can be ensured and expanded
Creating evaluations or data analyzes for other departments in the area of master data
Identification of process optimization/automation options and their implementation
Independent, conceptual and structured way of working, as well as quick comprehension
Completed business degree (or comparable training)
Several years of relevant professional experience
Knowledge of data feeds (e.g. SIX Financial Information, Bloomberg, etc.)
Good knowledge of financial instruments
Analytical skills and detail orientation
Workflow tools and methods (e.g. Jira, Kanban)
Project/product management methods (e.g. Scrum)
Database/programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python)
Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
Good communication and teamwork skills
