Your challenge

  • You will work as independently as possible, but as part of an international team of experts in the Business Risk Management Department on account openings/ KYC reviews and Support Front in their role as First Line of Defense unit for the following processes: Pre-Checks (optional for all risk categories clients); Client Onboarding and Ongoing Due Diligence Reviews
  • Plausibility check of the Tax status (in coordination with the operational tax department, especially for complex cases) 
  • Support Front in their role as First Line of Defense unit for all clients for the following processes. Pre-Checks - Client File Review Preparation - Onboarding
  • The processing of hits / anomalies in relevant IT tools is part of your area of responsibility
  • You are the first point of contact person for due diligence, money laundering and complex structures questions from the Front
  • You will support the development and delivery of training for staff on topics in your area of expertise (in particular money laundering, terrorist financing,etc.)
  • You support and represent the BRM team in local and group-wide initiatives, working groups and projects

Your profile

  • You have a degree (preferably in economics or law), a banking apprenticeship and professional experience in comparable work or several years of specialist experience in the financial sector
  • You have already gained extensive experience in Compliance / AML/CFT department, audit/client service department or auditing firm/law firm on AML/CFT issues
  • An understanding of the regulatory requirements in AML/CFT rounds off your profile
  • You have excellent communication skills in German and English, knowledge of any other foreign language, especially an Eastern European language, is an advantage
  • You are a reliable, flexible team player (m/f/d) with a can-do mentality who never loses sight of the big picture even under stressful situations
     

In addition to an extremely interesting field of activity and our social benefits, we offer you a collectively agreed minimum salary for the position starting at € 3.176,92 (depending on qualifications), with the readiness for a significant overpayment and a performance based target bonus.
