We are seeking an experienced Cloud Consultant to join LGT and our Team. As a Cloud Consultant, you will be in a team of cloud consultants and play a critical role in consulting Business and IT stakeholders on cloud topics. You will mainly work on the assessment, onboarding and implementation of new cloud services. You will work closely with local specialists from different business units in IT and non-IT domains.

Responsibilities:

• Consult Business and IT on cloud topics.
• Coordinate the assessment and implementation of new cloud services with relevant stakeholders in order to be compliant with internal and external requirements.
• Collaborate with IT Security, IT Operations, and local regulatory specialists, to define and enforce security and data protection measures for new cloud services.
• Give guidance on technological topics such as authentication, encryption and key management , architecture, business continuity management and possible exit strategies.
• Most of the time you will coordinate the onboarding of new SaaS but increasingly consult on PaaS and IaaS topics.
• You will present the evaluation of a new service from the perspective of the cloud consultant in front global stakeholders.
• Stay informed on new trends and topics to actively improve our approach, standards and processes on how cloud services are evaluated.

Yourprofilecontains: 

• Completed IT education (FH, ETH, Uni or equivalent).
• Proven experience working as a Cloud Consultant or in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Relevant certifications on Azure, AWS is a plus.
• IT security affinity and persistency when demanding compliance with guidelines
• Independent, responsible and proactive way of working.
• High level of social competence and organizational skills
